This sentence consists of one claim:
“The Solicitor General repeats Roe’s claim that it is ‘“doubtful” . . . “abortion was ever firmly established as a common-law crime even with respect to the destruction of a quick fetus.”’ Brief for United States 26 (quoting Roe, 410 U.S., at 136).”
This would be easy to confirm or refute by checking the document in question—if the document were easy to find. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the Dobbs docket that’s labeled “Brief for United States,” and the documents I’ve looked into so far don’t have that passage (or even have a page 26). So this will also have to remain undetermined for now:
